Located in Brussels, this garden duplex by Augustin immediately stood out through its rare connection between interior and exterior living. Opening onto a beautiful private garden, the apartment was designed around openness, natural light, and fluid circulation between spaces.

The large open kitchen, dining area, and living room naturally extend toward the outdoors, creating an atmosphere that feels calm, contemporary, and deeply connected to the garden.

The interior reflects a strong AFC Collection identity, balancing architectural minimalism with warmth, art, and carefully curated vintage pieces from Augustin’s personal collection. Throughout the duplex, inox details introduce a sharper contemporary contrast against softer textures and warmer materials, creating a layered and refined atmosphere.

One of the defining elements of the project is the integration of art and multifunctional spaces. A small office corner inspired by Muller Van Severen brings a sculptural and playful dimension into the home, while pivoting doors allow parts of the apartment to open or close depending on the desired atmosphere and rhythm of living.

The bedrooms were approached with a softer and more intimate feeling, featuring full carpeting and calming textures overlooking the garden. A large white sofa anchors the living space, reinforcing the balance between urban contemporary living and the quiet comfort of a private garden residence in the heart of Brussels.
